_____________The station has four senior married officers' quarters, 44
__________junior married officers' quarters and 220 married enlisted men's
__________quarters. The quarters are two and three bedroom two-level units
__________of concrete and steel construction. On the ground level is a
__________screened lanai, a two car carport, a maid's quarters, a laundry
__________room and a hot locker. The upper level includes a large living
__________room and dining area combination, kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom and
__________spacious sliding-door closets with heating elements to combat
__________dampness and mold. Windows are glass louvered, and you should
__________bring draperies or curtains if you have then. If not, however,
__________they can be locally made rather inexpensively.

_____________Quarters are not air-conditioned by the government, and most
__________residents either bring air-conditioners from home or buy them
__________here. Open construction of housing however, takes advantage of
__________tropic breezes, and wide roof overhangs and carports provide pro-
__________tection during the rainy season.

_____________Quarters are furnished with the following rattan furniture:
__________dining table and chairs, buffet, coffee and end tables, living
__________room chairs, desk, bedroom dressers, lamps and single or double
__________beds. Kitchens have electric ranges, refrigerators and upright
__________freezers (or refrigerators with freezer compartments). Laundry
__________rooms are equipped with wringer-type washing machines, which are
__________available only while awaiting the arrival of household goods.
__________Laundry rooms are shared by both families and double as the
__________maids' quarters. If you have a washer or dryer it is recommended
__________that you bring it with you. However, new washers and dryers can
__________be purchased quite economically through the Navy Exchange.
