This statue was carved
and erected by Dr Cook,
who was the dentist
on Midway in the
early 70's.
He is deceased now.		 This photo is from an article in
ALL HANDS MAGAZINE,
I believe from the October '73
issue. This is about Dr. Cook's
carving of the Lysan albatross
that is one of the memorials
on Midway.
