1956 |
This building was first "occupied" in January 1956, when Lieutenant Alexander Lennox, USN signed for it from the U. S. Army. The Todendorf Department was established in July 1956, and for the next three years, this building was our operations, communications, maintenance, berthing, head facilities, day room and chief quarters. Also, the chief's quarters housed one little black dog named "rags" who belonged to Chief Gene Brading. |
