Fehmarn Island in the Baltic. Portable collection van up and
operating. 18 ton van with generator. Travel time to Fehmarn,
approximately two hours, including ferry transit time.
Three hours to set van up. Inside was a complete
SIGINT site, less communications.
This van was transferred to Key West, Florida in 1962.
We were, and still are, a close group. Going Away party for
CT3 Edward Morrissey, USN. Todendorf had 28 personnel
assigned at the time of this picture. 19 sailors attended the
party, One officer and one chief were in Bremerhaven, and
7 sailors were on watch, a total of 28.
