This is the original patch for NSG DET BRUNSWICK under
NSGD WinterHarbor. I was a plank owner of the outfit from Jan 1974
to Aug 1977. In the early days "Special Projects" was the name but
now VPU-1 is the game but the mission remains the same, flying
operational direct support missions as directed.

I was involved in the "Infant stages" of the Project in Aug 1969
out of FGGM.
The patch is now considered "PC" with no cigar or booze but the
"Original" remains true to all those who served under it.
