Photo showing "The Old Church" - taken by Dick Carlson in 1955. Photo was taken from the top of the Matsuya Department Store on the Isezaki-cho. The whole area around the old church was fenced off with barbed wire because there were still unexploded bombs in the field, or so they said. OFF LIMITS signs all around it.

This photo was taken by George Morton in 1963, when he started his second tour at KamiSeya. Lots of buildings has been put up around "The Old Church" by this time.
