Dale A. Nulik, CTT2, 1970-1974 In early March 1970 received draft notice, My Air force Recruiter, could not get me in, but he took my test scores and me across the street to a Navy Recruiter, in two days I was in San Diego in Boot camp. After navy tests, I was asked to fill out a dream sheet, my first two choices were , A Aircraft Power plants, and B Aircraft Structures, as I came from an Aircraft family, my Dad had been on the first teams 50 people to build the first Lear Jet, and Cessna Citations in Wichita Kansas. But my third choice was Communications? since I had a close friend in the Air force in the communication center at Da Nang. Well I got communications, just not the kind I needed to talk to anybody? After active duty, I had to cross train to RM2 and RM1 and in time became a ham, sign KA0UOA, and worked MARS a little for the Reserve NavComSta Guam in Wichita KS. active and reserve 14 years, and enjoy CTT, it did help, I feel, in the civilian world later. P.S. my handle in Panama as CTTSN and CTT3 was "NEWS" which is another story. thanks Dale A Nulik 900 Old Stockton Road, Spc 547, Oakdale, CA 95361
