Narrative from Bill Slack

I was one of the original 5 CTs that started up the NSG Detachment Ramasan Station, Thailand in 1971. Three of us were CTR1 Williams, CTR1 Childress, and myself, CTR1 Bill Slack. There was a CTR2 also, but I am drawing a blank on him. The CTRCS that was to be the Ops Chief, went on liberty one evening and had a heart attack and passed away. I had to take over as Ops Chief. The OIC was a WO3, but I don't remember his name either.
