Barracks after 20 ditty chasers were added to the original 8 DF'ers. When we first arrived at Sasebo, us 8 DF'ers were put into a 20 x 20 foot room. It did belong to marine NCO's till we showed up. |
A 100 yen taxi (36 cent) on base. A four door. Could hold more than 2. |
Main base Sasebo. Base was a major Naval repair port. |
Think this is repair ship USS Jason. It rotated every 6 months. |
