The following are pictures of the big warehouse fire that we had in Yokosuka
in 1952. That was quite a fire, there was a lot of paint in the ware house and you could hear it exploding. The warehouse next to it was supposed to have torpedoes and various other type of explosives. Fortunately they were able to keep it from catching fire, and it only destroyed the one. |
