Narrative from Don East:

One of the P-3B aircraft assigned to VPU-1 (then VP-26
Det 222), when I was the OIC during 1975-1979 timeframe.
Marvin Nowicki worked for me as the Squadron OIC.

Narrative from Don Fleet:

This picture is circa March 1977, as four EP-3s transited from
Atusgi, Japan en route NAS Agana. I was in the one fourth
EP-3E (I believe it was PR-34) that was taking the pictures.
The navigator did the camera work. It was a once-in-a-lifetime
situation to have four EP-3s airborne in formation...this was the only time it ever happened to my knowledge and I spent
six years in the Qs. The aircraft are from VQ-1.

One of the EA-3B (Skywarrior) aircraft assigned to VQ-2 in
Rota, Spain when I was C.O. during the 1982-1983 timeframe.
The NSGA Rota Activity supported and flew with us.
This aircraft has one NSG position.
